Polymer technologist, specializing in injection molding (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Setting up, tooling, and starting up injection molding machines, including peripherals
• Monitoring, controlling, and optimizing injection molding processes with regard to quality, cycle time, and scrap
• Sampling of new tools and materials (e.g., according to PPAP / VDA)
• Analyzing and resolving process and quality issues
• Conducting process approvals and documenting relevant production data
• Participation in mold acceptance, optimization, and modification
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Collaboration with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Production, and Development
• Supporting the industrialization of new products
• Training and technical support for machine operators

Your Profile

Technical Qualifications

• Completed training as a plastics and rubber technologist,
  Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber Technology (specializing in injection-molded parts)
• Several years of professional experience in injection molding
• In-depth knowledge of processing thermoplastics, engineering plastics, and high-performance plastics
• Experience operating injection molding machines
• Good knowledge of tooling technology, materials science, and process parameterization/process optimization
• Proficiency in handling production and quality documentation

• Strong technical understanding and excellent problem-solving skills
• Sense of responsibility and reliability
